About The Petawawa Bassmasters

Formed in June 2000, we are a chapter of the Ontario Bass Federation (OBF).

We host both “open” and “club only” tournaments in Petawawa and surrounding areas.

For open tournaments, Petawawa Bassmasters uses a team format. This format allows anglers to fish as teams in competition against some of the best anglers in Eastern Ontario. Points are applied to both anglers.

For club only tournaments, a random draw is held to match up boaters with non-boaters. Anglers fish as individuals with someone other than their team partner, providing an opportunity for both anglers in the boat to learn new techniques and approaches to catching bass. Points are applied on an individual basis.
